The Dower House Hotel is an 1880’s rectory house cleverly converted into a ten bedroom hotel and we invite you to relax in superb comfort.

We are situated on the A3052 between Lyme Regis and Seaton and we are ideally placed for numerous sports and leisure activities which are all within easy reach of Rousdon. These include: golf, bowls, horse riding, shooting, walking, and fossil hunting to name but a few. Lyme Regis which is only a 5 minute drive away is known as the Gateway Town to the Jurassic Coast so why not try your hand at fossil hunting. For those who enjoy walking we are on the South West Dorset and Devon World Heritage Coastal path.

We are well known for our excellent food and our ten attractive bedrooms are en-suite, with tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV, radios, hairdryers, and telephone and internet connection.

We have ample parking and a fully licensed bar lounge and restaurant.
